HYFRA offers you a wide range of powerful air- and water-cooled chiller units with multiple equipment options that can be customized to satisfy your needs. Thanks to sector-leading HYFRA microchannel technology, our chiller solutions are highly efficient and deliver significant energy savings. And they use up to 60% less refrigerant. HYFRA cooling machines are also very compact: outputs of up to 28 kW are possible on bases of only 0.5 m², up to 80 kW on 1 m² and up to 160 kW on only 2 m². This results in significant flexibility advantages when planning production area layouts and a productivity boost as well.
Gamma - Immersion chiller
The models of the HYFRA Gamma series are designed as immersion chillers for cooling water, oil, and emulsion. The plug-and-play coolers can be installed and used on surfaces as small as 0.5 m². Therefore, they are very well suited for integration into different machine layouts. At the same time, they ensure a high degree of flexibility when planning the production area. In the compact models, the condenser is installed horizontally. This type of construction means that the chillers generate significantly less waste heat. HYFRA Gamma models optionally have a robust agitator for mixing the medium. For cleaning, the chillers can be easily lifted out of the tank using the integrated crane lift eyes. |
Sigma - Industrial water chiller
The models of the HYFRA Sigma series are suitable for all applications that use cooling water as a medium. The chillers' compressors always operate at optimum efficiency and the plate heat exchangers are highly efficient. This leads to considerable savings in energy consumption. In conjunction with microchannel technology, the demand for refrigerant is also reduced by up to 70 percent.
In chillers with microchannel technology, the refrigerant flows through numerous microchannels. The many small channels increase the surface for heat exchange with the medium to be cooled. At the same time, less refrigerant flows because of the small diameter of the channels. The result is not only a permanent reduction in the amount of refrigerant required, but also a better ecological balance. As a result of the low refrigerant requirement, there is no need for an annual leak test for coolers with a capacity of up to 30 kW. This noticeably reduces the costs for the maintenance of the chiller. During operation, a 2-point pressure transducer increases the safety of the system. It ensures a constant system pressure and gives an early warning of leaks. |
eChilly - Small Water Chillers
For high demands with limited space, the minichillers of the HYFRA eChilly series are the right solution. With their highly compressed design, the small cooling water recoolers fit into almost any machine layout. Their scratch-resistant stainless steel housing protects them even in harsh environments. The units of the HYFRA eChilly series are quickly put into operation because they are always available at short notice and are delivered ready to plug in.
Despite their small size, the chillers are convincing in terms of their equipment. The air filter installed as standard provides reliable protection against foreign bodies. The use of microchannel technology reduces the need for refrigerants by up to 70 percent. The HYFRA eChilly can be flexibly adapted using a wide range of options. |
